Previously (and currently in the latest build) interactions were pretty bland and random, it was indeed nice to see some gifs playing when some subject occurred, but the conversations were pretty generic.

In this upcoming update, we plan to resolve this issue, each character not only having unique actions which have a “mini-scene” behind it, but depending on your relationship with a Partner you will be able to find out more about them or even during Conversations or character Scenes.
